چکیده

Background: Stomach ulcer is one of the diseases that many patients suffer from all over world, and it causes damage to intestinal wall. Some research has shown Bauhinia thonningii extract, which been traditionally used treat a variety ailments, including stomach ulcers, powerful antioxidant mucus-increasing properties. Objective:This aimed at studying mechanism(s) through methanolic (MBST) chloroform (CBST) extracts B. stem bark protects against ethanol-induced in rats. Material Methods: MBST CBST were evaluated vivo for their cytoprotective qualities employing acidity, mucus content, macroscopic microscopic methods, lipid peroxidation, nitric oxide, mass spectroscopy, 2D gel electrophoresis, biochemical indicators. These tested vitro on lipopolysaccharide/interferon-stimulated rat cells. Additionally, in-vivo, in-vitro toxicity investigations conducted. FRAP, DPPH, ORAC tests determine activity CBST. Chemical spectroscopic approaches analyze phytochemistry CBST.Results: The gross histological characteristics proved its anti-ulcerogenic effects. gastroprotective effects by modulating peroxidation proteomics indicators [heat shock protein (Hsp60), disulfide isomerase (ERp60), disulfide-isomerase, creatine kinase B, cytosolic malate dehydrogenase, peroxiredoxin-6, ATP synthase]. have substantial impacts oxide both in-vivo. In comparison CBST, extract demonstrated greater properties, polyphenolic activity. plant did not show any or shows anti-ulcer action, may be ascribed ability reduce ethanol-triggered oxidative injury, intervene proteomic mechanisms, modulate oxide.Conclusion:The present study found Schum activities due capabilities. warrants more attention since provide an exciting novel medication treatment acute erosive gastropathy.Keywords: Schum;polar non-polar extraction; peptic ulcer; oxide;

Gastroprotective Mechanism and Ulcer Resolution Effect of Cyrtocarpa procera Methanolic Extract on Ethanol-Induced Gastric Injury

Gastric ulcers are a worldwide health problem and their poor healing is one of the most important causes for their recurrence. We have previously reported the remarkable gastroprotective and anti-Helicobacter pylori activities of the methanolic extract (CpMet) of Cyrtocarpa procera bark. This work investigates, in a murine model, the CpMet gastroprotective mechanism and establishes its preclini...
